UniPark BD LLC has been owned and run by Robert Davis since 2014. We are based at 725 Rodeo Drive, Trenton, New Jersey 08608, USA, and almost every job we take is within a three-hour drive of that address — because a contractor who cannot get to your site quickly is not much use to you.
How the company started
Robert Davis spent eleven years running striping and paving crews for a regional civil contractor before starting UniPark BD out of a rented yard on the south side of Trenton. The first job was a 41-stall lot behind a dental practice on Hamilton Avenue. The equipment was one used line striper and a pickup truck.
What grew the business was not marketing. It was the fact that owners kept asking the same question after we finished the asphalt: “Can you also handle the gate? The kiosk? The winter?” So we learned those trades and hired people who already knew them. Twelve years later we run four crews, a low-voltage division and an operations desk, and we still answer the phone with a person.
What we actually believe
- The estimate is a promise. If we missed something, that is our cost, not yours.
- Parking is infrastructure, not decoration. Drainage and sub-base first; the pretty stripes come after.
- Nobody should need a manual to park. If a driver hesitates at your entry lane, the design failed.
- Small jobs matter. The 30-stall church lot gets the same superintendent as the 900-space deck.
